The rear sight body is precision Wire-EDM machined from 4140 chrome moly steel, which is subsequently heat-treated to a hardness of RC 38-40. It features precise click adjustments that ensure reliable and consistent changes to the point of impact. The sight is supplied with a replacement hinge pin and springs. This Elliason rear sight includes a square target blade that is fully serrated to minimize glare, providing a clear and unobstructed sight picture that aids the shooter in maintaining focus on the front sight post. It is compatible with pistols and revolvers originally equipped with Elliason or Accro rear sights, including older models such as the Colt 1911 Gold Cup series 70 and series 80, Pre-Series 70 Colt national match, Colt Ace, Colt Python, Anaconda, King Cobra, Trooper, Diamondback, Officer's model match and Woodsman target models. It is not compatible with Colt Delta models or newer recreations of the Colt Gold Cup 1911.
