Short and long versions are tailored for common Kimber 1911 footprints including 5 inch bull barrel models, 4 inch Pro and Compact models, and all Ultra models. The short tool replaces the factory tool to ease removal and installation of the recoil spring assembly. The long tool locks the slide rearward to allow controlled removal of the slide stop lever without applying excessive force to the slide or frame.
