The barrel is finished in durable KimPro II, fitted with a muzzle brake to reduce recoil, and utilizes a 1:10 twist rate suited for stabilizing a variety of .270 caliber projectiles. Kimber’s controlled-round-feed system, with a Mauser-style claw extractor and spiral fluted bolt, ensures smooth cycling and dependable operation in demanding field conditions.

The rifle is paired with a premium H-S Precision stock constructed from a blend of fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar, reinforced with aluminum bedding for strength and stability.
