Tailored for AR-15, M-16, M4 and similar MSR rifles, the KleenBore military style bore brush is purpose-built for heavy-duty usage. Its design incorporates a core wire looped through a brass coupling, threaded at #8-36. This bore brush is exceptionally effective for cleaning 0.22 and 0.223 caliber/5.56mm rifles. Please be aware that the #8-36 coupling does not conform to standard thread sizes and may not fit most commercial cleaning rods. However, it is compatible with KleenBore multi-section rifle rods found in the classic rifle kits, field pack kits (military style pouch kits) #POU301B, #POU302B, #POU302T and the all caliber vinyl pouch rod set (#S-170).
