The All Rounder Carbine Grit Cutter Bolt Carrier Group (ARC BCG) is a high-performance component, individually proof tested and mag particle inspected to ensure its quality and reliability. The inner diameter of the bolt carrier is machined to a tighter specification than most competitor offerings, creating a Just Right gas seal inside the carrier. This results in enhanced gas efficiency and increased service life. Unlike many M16 BCG manufacturers who overlook the lack of chrome plating in a TDP bolt carrier, the ARC BCG features a two step Titanium Nitride (TiN) PVD coating for exceptional durability. To address PVD's line of sight limitations, the carrier is first gas nitride treated to create a wear resistant base layer, followed by bead blasting the exterior for the TiN PVD coating. This dual layer process ensures complete protection across every surface of the carrier. The bolt is made from shot peened Crucible Carpenter 158 deg F steel and is individually proof tested to ensure long lasting performance. The chrome lined gas key is securely sealed with Permatex gasket sealant and fastened with OCKS fasteners at 53 in/lb. The extractors are billet machined from 4140 steel, manganese phosphate coated for improved grip on the casing rim and equipped with Sprinco 5 coil extractor springs featuring a rubber insert for added durability and reliability.
