Features

In cases where conventional methods for removing a frozen screw are ineffective and drilling becomes necessary, carbide center drills should be employed to accurately center and initiate the hole. With the spindle operating at a relatively high speed, lower the center drill onto the screw head and adjust its position until it is precisely centered on the screw. Apply pressure and drill until the center hole is sufficiently deep to allow the appropriately undersized regular drill bit to commence cutting without catching on the screw head slot. These drills are also highly effective for drilling into broken taps, as they can create center holes even in the hardest materials. Due to the substantial body mass of the tool relative to the small drill diameter, it offers exceptional sturdiness and rigidity, preventing flexing or deviation during operation.
