In 2013, after seeing the success of the MDT TAC21 chassis and its widespread adoption, we recognized a demand for a more compact, lightweight and easy-to-install aftermarket rifle stock. We also wanted to create a chassis that could accommodate a carbine AR buttstock and AR grip, making it easier for first time chassis users to repurpose spare AR parts. This led to the creation of the MDT LSS chassis. Now in its Gen 2 version, the LSS chassis boasts several improvements, including a more aggressive barricade stop, M-LOK forend and ambidextrous Magazine latch. Additionally, with the option of our folding stock adapter and carbine-compatible buttstocks, building your ideal lightweight, foldable hunting rifle or compact truck gun has never been easier.
