Is this a full auto buffer spring?
George C on Apr 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The buffer springs for both select-fire and semi-auto are the same. The spring simply absorbs the recoil presented against it; it does not matter how many times per second the recoil is absorbed. The confines of the buffer tube do not allow the spring to have its elastic limit exceeded...
can this be used for 9 mm ar?
Robert B on Jun 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The standard car spring will work but you have to get the heavier buffer. 9 mm is a strait blowback, needs the heavy 9mm buffer

Another great PSA part to use for a custom build or as a replacement part. I would definitely recommend this item and buy more in the future.
I have been very satisfied with all of the PSA products I have bought and used so far. Well built no frills basic AR buffer spring that performs as it should. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that I haven’t used it enough to really give it a good workout at the range. I will say that I have no doubts it will continue to perform well.

Great replacement part
Bought this to replace a rifle spring that someone had installed in a carbine stock. Now gun shoots smooth and recoil is right.

Shorter spring
I think this spring is great. With this spring and shells that have 1300 fps makes my gun cycle like it should. With the .223/5.56 spring the gun would jam with every shot. With this spring it works perfectly like it should.
