Features
Norma is renowned worldwide for its high-quality products, with cartridge cases being a cornerstone of this reputation. Made from the finest raw materials and held to the narrowest tolerances, Norma cases deliver exceptional durability, ensuring long life and multiple reloads. This dedication to quality results in consistent accuracy, shot after shot. The .22-250 Remington, originally a wildcat cartridge, was developed by necking down the .250-3000 Savage to .22 Cal. While its exact origins remain unclear, most credit U.S. gunmaker J.E. Gebby, who called his 1937 design the .22 Varminter. However, given the .250-3000 Savage's introduction in 1915, earlier wildcatters may have experimented with similar designs. In 1965, Remington introduced a commercial version of this balanced, high-velocity cartridge, solidifying its place as a go-to choice for small game and varmint hunting. With its flat trajectory, the .22-250 Remington is effective on varmints out to 400 yd, making it a favorite among hunters for precision and performance.
