Our primary objective has been to enhance the performance and reliability of the AR platform through innovative barrel designs. The caliber matched gas system (CAMGAS) has provided us with the ability to finely calibrate the gas system for each specific cartridge and barrel length. Although the AR-15 and AR-10 were initially designed for 223REM, 5.56x45mm and 308 win/7.62 NATO rounds, the introduction of higher-performance options like the 22 Nosler and 6.5 Creedmoor has resulted In increased bore pressure further down the barrel. By strategically repositioning ports, we maintain the original gas system pressure of the AR platforms, resulting In reduced recoil, minimized receiver fouling, improved extraction reliability and reduced brass wear. This translates to improved target accuracy and extended shooting sessions, all while harnessing the capabilities of state-of-the-art high performance cartridges.
