When you receive your bolt action barrel, it will be ready for threading and chamberings by your selected gunsmith. It's crucial to understand that while proof Research's barrel blanks can be customized to include various chambers, whether for standardized or unique wildcat cartridges, we cannot provide assurances regarding specific performance metrics like accuracy, muzzle velocity and bullet stability. This is particularly relevant for wildcat cartridges without standardized chambers, designs or pressure specifications. Although our barrels are engineered for reliable operation with most established cartridges and within SAAMI and CIP pressure limits, caution should be exercised when working on unique rifle builds.
