What is the total length after assembly?
Badsman67 on Jan 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: That will depend on where you set your shockwave brace. To keep it in a pistol configuration. Keep under 26 inches overall length. Of longer it will be. Classified as any other weapon.
Is the BCG and Charging Handle included? I ask as it's listed down on the description but they are not pictured.

It has the red warning I need a special permit from ATF? Or is it just considered a pistol?
J D on Dec 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Other contributors already nailed this, "pistol build, not considered sbr, unless you add a buttstock, etc." I just wanted to add to info regarding the "red box warning." While you're good on federal SBR laws as long as you don't add a buttstock or vertical foregrip, (I'm told AFG's are ok) you'll also need to check your particular state's, county's, and local municipalities laws as well to ensure you're not in potential violation of those.
Is the BCG nitride treated or phosphate finished?
Chris P. Bacon on Nov 25, 2018

Can this kit, w/o lower, be sold and shipped to California?

Legal without federal stamp?
Alabama on Jan 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Being as this is a pistol kit, if assembled with the accompanying equipment and NOT a carbine butt stock, this build would constitute a pistol. It also must be installed on a stripped semiautomatic or "pistol" designated lower that was not a rifle at the time of manufacture. Check local jurisdiction to ensure legality beforehand, ATF has the most up to date federal guidance.
Can I use this kit with a Anderson AR-15 lower? Or, does it have to be a pistol lower? This will be my first build.
Brian C on Feb 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The only difference between the pistol lower is that it cannot have been registered previously as a rifle, and no butstock only a fixed brace
Is the barrel chrome lined?
Cody T on Nov 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No. Nitride
Do I need a lower that is registered as a pistol?
Jd M on Jan 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have same question basically.. I realize I can't use an existing lower that was assembled as "rifle configuration," but, say I order a stripped lower from PSA, and it's a standard 5.56mm or "multi-cal" lower, do I have to somehow declare or register it as a pistol lower, or is the fact that I'm ordering a pistol build kit, and a stripped lower, obviously not previously built as any configuration sufficient? *I realize this is a question and not an answer, but I'm trying to get a little more clarification on this matter before I inadvertently run afoul of the law.*

Using a mbus flip up sight do I need a riser on the rail?
Marvin J on Jan 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Mbus will work with out a riser. The front sight on the kits I've got had/ has the standard "F" marked site tower/gas block. A great kit by the way!
Does the kit come with the adjustable blade? The pics don't lead me to believe it's adjustable.
jon on Mar 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is. The blade is attached by a pointed screw into notches on the buffer tube. So the blade can be moved forward or backward then screwed in. Holds perfect. Have several.
Is the rail on the upper a standard picatinny?
Billy B on Feb 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is a mil-spec upper so it will be compatible with all accessories.
THOMAS F on Feb 6, 2019

Cant beat it for the money.
Great pistol kit, not one FTF. 3:30 injection angle, and 2 inch grouping at 150 yards with a bushnell TRS 25. Cant beat it.

Great Value
I love these kits. PSA is a great value and I have built many rifles and pistols with their parts. I couldn't recommend them enough for first time builders.

My first build
This was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Everything fit perfectly and my daughter loves it. Now its off to the range but this is as good quality as the S&W M&P that I paid a lot more for. Like it so much I ordered another in 300 Blackout.

Great kit! Easy to assemble.
My first AR pistol. Not difficult to assemble this kit. PSA should post a YouTube video to show first timers the step-by-step!

You can’t beat PSA for the price
Awesome gun. PSA weapons are priced right and function as they should. I have four of various calibers and I have no complaints. Plus they are just fun to build.
