What else needs to be purchased to make it completed?
Tim B on Jun 11, 2018

Short cycles and seems to be ammo specific. Is there a fix for that?
Matthew H on Jul 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If it is ammo specific don't use that ammo. The ammo itself may not build enough pressure for the gas system to operate coresctly.
This kit can be shipped directly to my home? Just wondering as I see the Lowers need to be shipped to FFL for transfers. Thanks for your time, John G.

What lower receiver do I need to buy?
Logan M on Jun 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Logan, if you're asking that... you may need to do some more research on your own. There is more material available on The Google and The YouTube that will tell you everything you need to know about this. But to answer you question, EVERY AR15 stripped lower that is sold in the USA will work with this kit, ok? ALL of them will work.

Great starter setup
I bought this cause it was a good price and came with everything but the lower receiver. The kit was easy to put together and came out better then I had anticipated. I think with the total set up I have right around 400 into it. I would recommend this to someone just starting out you can always upgrade or change setup later.

Just Built
I just built this, my first ever. Super easy to assemble. The fit and finish is really nice. My kit was missing the trigger guard, I checked the box three times. I emailed PSA and they shipped it right out. I'm happy with the quick, no hassle service.
If it wasn't nighttime and with a thunderstorm, I'd be putting some rounds through it.

excellent quality
Outstanding quality and fit, bolt meshes with the receiver perfectly. Shoots quarter size groups at 100 yards. Only recommendation is get a better buffer spring, the rounds are on the hot side and the spring could stand to be a little stronger.

Great Buy
Palmetto state is good to go. I have high dollar ARs and the Palmetto State upper delivers. Fit and finish are ok for a 299 build I would not complain. For the price, you can not beat that. Put on a Spike's lower. Parts kit fit and finish was standard and everything fit. Bolt Carrier Group was not the smoothest but it worked and did not have any hiccups on brass or steel case ammo. Glad I was finally able to check out PSA they normally get good reviews. Every household should have a Ar 15 in it, if not 2 thanks to PSA.

The kit is very nice and good value. Had fitting problems with trigger and different metric handle screw but PSA took care of it and sent replacements. Pleased with their response.

Excellent rifle kit for the money
I own or have shot at least 10 different PSA rifles. The 16" midlength Nitride Freedom's are my favorites. They consistently shoot well in the last 3 I've seen/shot.

The mil-spec triggers are 7lb plus and are horrible. That said, at this price, I expect a garbage take-off trigger. I swapped it for a Right to Bear Arms Nickle Teflon coated trigger with a purple ALG hammer spring. Trigger pull was reduced to 4lb 6oz..

Handguard was removed and ALG M-Lok freefloat handguard (and new gas block) was installed. PSA gas block pins are a bear to drive out!

With 50gr American Eagle 50gr varmint tip ammo, groups were ~1.25" at 100 yards, using a cheap Simmons 8-point.

I have rifles that shoot better, but they cost 3x more. Hands down, these are the best value to be had.
Kit w. ALG M-Lok, a RTBA trigger and an ALG purple spring. 4lb 6oz pull. Shoots 1.25" w. AE 50gr VT
