Will this work with an aero precision lower?
Brandon B on Jun 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: "No", it will not...I tried to pair a PA-10 upper to an Aero M5 lower...will "not" pair up correctly...besides, the PA-10/65 lower will make a much better visual/mechanical match, at a significantly lower price (my advise)'c
How is the gas block adjusted?
Ron L on Apr 24, 2018

BearKiller on Aug 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have not tried to fit on a S&W AR10 Lower. But it is a mil spec upper. I have my AR 65 on a PA AR 10 lower. It works perfectly. It should work fine as long as your S&W lower is to mil spec.

I'm required to build my own lower as per laws not allowing complete lower shipped so do you guys make a parts kit for how you build the lower and what type of buffer and spring is required for the 6. 5 Creedmoor Gen 2? Any build related information would be greatly appreciated. Please advise?
Clint on Sep 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I m in the same boat, in a state not allowing a completed lower. I just finished my PSA Gen 2 ar 10 lower. Get the stripped lower and then order PSA's ar 10 lower build kit. It comes with the Heavy recoil spring and buffer

Will the 6.5 Creedmoor upper fit a Rock River AR-15 Lower?
92nRed R on Jul 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, the 6.5 creedmoor is used on the AR10 style lower, so an AR15 lower will not work regardless of manufacturer.
Will this fit a smith and wesson ar10 lower?
Tim C on Jan 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There is no direct answer to that unless someone has tried it and will answer for you. As you know ar10’s are not mil spec, there are 2 different uppers and lowers as made by armalite, ( ( the difference being the angle at the rear of the upper to lower, one is rounded, the other is 45’d ), then there is what is called the high rail and low rail version which refers to the height of the rail on the upper and the corresponding hand guard. All I can say is it is possible. It is best however to just go ahead and match the PSA upper to their lower, especially with the price they offer a complete PA65 lower ! You can get one with milspec trigger group or one with 2 stage trigger.
What other kind of lowers can i run with the 6.5 creedmoor upper?
Jeremy C on Feb 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They say this is a dpms type for sure not an armalite I just went ahead and bought the psa lower I have the armalite that's how I know it will not work

Manuel L on Jan 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, they are completely different formats. The barrel extension and bolt are also different. There is no interchangeability between LR308 and PX10 other then Magazines and most of the Lower parts kit.

Evening Gentleman, Do you think this would work with a Diamond Back DB10 lower?
John F on Jan 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: maybe. maybe not. ar-10 platform rifles don't enjoy the same standardization found in the ar-15 platform. even if it does actually fit and work, the contour and width of the two receivers is likely it might not look right.
Will this work on Rock River 308 lower ?
Charles B on Jan 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend you to a palmetto pa10 most at 10 are not interchangeable
Will it work on a sig 716 lower?
James S on Oct 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unlikely - remember, this is not AR-15 stuff, so there is no milspec. Nearly all of this stuff is proprietary. I tried my upper on an Aero Precision lower and it never would have fit, even if I tried, the pin holes would not have lined up. I recommend pairing the PSA upper with a PSA lower, and save yourself a lot of aggravation. The text of the PSA info page says, "These uppers are designed tow work with the PA-10 platform and as such will function with existing Gen1 & Gen2 PA-10 lower receivers. In order for a better cosmetic appeal, we recommend using all 6.5 Creedmoor uppers with Gan2 PA-10 Lowers or PA-65 Lowers." There's a reason they wrote that. You should take their advice. I certainly will.
What lower will work with this upper unit?
Shotgun on Mar 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I used lower PSA-Gen2 PA65 6.5 Creedmoor, I also change out the buffer spring to JP Enterprises Silent Captured Gen2 AR-10 308 Heavy Recoil Buffer Model# JPSCS2-H2, Works Great.

Just got this the other day, upon unboxing, This thing is bad a.., fit (from what I can tell at this point) and finish is awesome! I haven’t done more than just look at it because I’m waiting for my lower to come in. I haven’t even taken the b.c.g. or c.h. down from the assembly yet because I don’t want to misplace anything. Which, at this point is the only reasons why I’ve only given 4 stars. I will update and/or rewrite my review once I get the lower in and marry them together. Shipping was pretty good... the package and everything on PSA’s end was bar none awesome! Ups did have a small hiccup but they were able to straighten it out within a day and their customer service was awesome. Overall I’m very excited and can’t wait for the rest. More to come.

So far so good. Plan to start working on my long range and getting this think dialed in. Paired with a PSA lower and soon to have a Rise Armament 3.5lb trigger. I have a Vortex 4-12x44 on it now but plan to upgrade one day. Sitting on a UTG M-Lok bi-pod and using a VG6 muzzle brake with Magpul ACS-L stock and ATI Scorpion grip

Nice A.R. 10 package
For the cost of an AR-10 this cannot be beat. The upper & lower fit nicely. Haven’t shot it yet but if it shoots as good as it looks I will be very happy
Everything fit very well.... If it shoots as good as it looks 👍👍👍

Purchased both the Gen2 lower and the 6.5 complete upper. First and for most i installed a POF single stage drop in trigger to the lower, did very little adjustments to the gas block(started out at 1whole turn open) and only made a 1/4 more out to get the ejection angle where i like it, mounted a Vortex pst Viper on it and off to the range. I completed my whole "barrel breakin/lapping" process and started the dialing in process. I've got about 40 shots thru the gun so far and am VERY pleased with my groups and function of the complete gun. WELL WORTH the money for a long range AR10 platform rifle!!

PA-65 a very good alternative to $1000 AR10 6.5 Creedmoor
Thought I would share my experience since everyone downs this AR10 in 6.5 from the reviews I have found. I ordered the PA-65 Upper with the heavier handguard 20” SS barrel and the AR10 lower (the PA-65 never being in stock.) I also ordered the nickel boron 2 stage trigger. Fit and finish is good. The upper is slightly lighter in color than the lower which I can live with but it did annoy me. Once I assembled a removed the factory oil and greased the bolt lightly I made a trip to my local range. I was going to wait until the scope I ordered for this rifle arrived but I just couldn’t wait so I installed a loaner from my brother (Nikon Buckmaster 3-9) just to get some shots on paper and see how this gun would perform. I was more than impressed to say the lease. At 100 yards shooting from a bipod and rear bag I was able to dial it in and shoot sub-moa groups with cheap Winchester Deer Season bullets from Walmart. No fliers, very consistent. I am very happy with this purchase and to be honest have never had any issues with any of my PSA rifle purchases. My first AR was a bone stock AR-15 from PSA that I ended up removing the sight/gas block to install a low profile gas block and 15 inch rail and it to this day is the best AR-15 I have ever owned. I own two Daniel Defense V11 rifles. The V11 Pro and regular V11 and the PSA mid-length bone stock AR15 (other than a Geissele SDE Trigger) outshoots all I own. I am either getting very lucky or their have been some unfair reviews. Either way I am very happy with my purchase minus the non matching finish.
Not sure if this picture captures the non matching finish I spoke to in my review.
Best group of the day on my first outing.
