The Primary Weapons System 2nd generation Enhanced Buffer Tube with Ratchet Lock Castle Nut & End Plate is impact extruded from 7075 aluminum and anodized in mil-sec Type II for durability and corrosion protection, and features a new, lightened PWS design. The MOD 2 system nets nearly 1oz in weight reduction due to the fluting / lightening cuts and the new attachment design. The new PWS Buffer Tube features an anti-tilt lip, 6 stock positions with enhanced drainage ports, QD sling swivel mount, and new ratchet lock design for increased reliability.
