The Primary Weapons System 2nd generation Enhanced Buffer Tube with Ratchet Lock Castle Nut & End Plate is impact extruded from 7075 aluminum and anodized in mil-sec Type II for durability and corrosion protection, and features a new, lightened PWS design.  The MOD 2 system nets nearly 1oz in weight reduction due to the fluting / lightening cuts and the new attachment design. The new PWS Buffer Tube features an anti-tilt lip, 6 stock positions with enhanced drainage ports, QD sling swivel mount, and new ratchet lock design for increased reliability.

• Ratchet-Lock Design:  The patent pending Ratchet-Lock Design eliminates the need for staking the castle nut and gives a rock solid lock up while being able to remove it easily if needed in the future

• Lightening Cuts Reducing Weight By Approx. 1 Oz. Off Mil-Spec

• Unique Fluted Tube Design For Debris Clearing

• Extended Carrier Support Lip For Smoother Cycling

• Anti-Tilt Lip:  Increases life of piston driven weapons by allowing the carrier to start in the buffer tube rather than transitioning into the tube on extraction

• Enlarged Drain Holes for greater reliability, regardless of environment or application

• Central QD sling swivel mount for neutral positioning of your firearm with multiple sling configurations

• PWS Lifetime Guarantee

Great Piece of Gear.
I wanted one of these on a build when it saw the first version. I wound up with the second generation one. It’s a nicely machined piece. Not completely sure it’s worth the extra coin but it looks really cool. Plus I have the extra peace of mind knowing that all the heat generated by my buffer is dissipated nicely!

Very well made and functional. I'll purchase again for my next build, without a doubt!
