The radian model 1 upper receiver and handguard are meticulously crafted as a precisely matched set, utilizing precision CNC machining techniques. To enhance strength and rigidity, critical areas are strategically reinforced for added durability. The upper receiver is expertly milled from billet 7075-t6 aluminum and incorporates essential components such as a dust cover, handguard anti-rotation pin, lightweight forward assist and the versatile Raptor-SD ambidextrous charging handle. The handguard features Magpul M-lok accessory mounting slots and is securely fastened to the barrel nut through the use of four black nitride-coated steel cross bolts, offering exceptional corrosion resistance. Each surface undergoes meticulous machining and chamfering to ensure a smooth and comfortable feel, free from sharp edges. Ultimately, both the upper receiver and handguard are treated with the radian cerakote finish, delivering a flawless matching appearance.
