Features
RCBS gold medal match series reloading dies are compatible with self-centering, interchangeable neck bushings, allowing reloaders to fine-tune bullet tension with precision. This customization reduces work hardening in the case neck, extending brass life and boosting accuracy. To maximize these benefits, reloaders must use premium brass with uniform neck thickness. To find the ideal bushing size, measure the loaded cartridge's neck diameter and subtract 0.002 - 0.003 inches, accounting for 0.001 inches spring-back of the brass. Alternatively, measure the neck wall thickness, double it, add bullet diameter and subtract 0.001 inches. RCBS advises keeping bushings in a range of one to two sizes above and below the target.
