RCBS full-length die sets represent the pinnacle of hand loading technology, meticulously crafted from proprietary RCBS die steel and held to stringent machining tolerances to ensure unmatched quality and performance. Each set is optimized for bottleneck rifle cartridges and comes complete with a full-length sizer die including an expander-decapping unit-and a Bullet Seater Die fitted with a precise bullet seater plug. The full-length sizer die reformats cases to SAAMI minimum dimensions by resizing the case body and neck, removing spent primers and expanding the case mouth for bullet seating. It also includes vent holes designed to eliminate the risk of hydraulic denting caused by trapped air or excessive case lubricant. With its headspace tolerances maintained at the tightest possible margins, the die minimizes any unwanted case body length changes during sizing. The accompanying Seater Die performs dual functions by seating the bullet to the desired depth while simultaneously applying a firm roll crimp, locking the projectile in place with consistency and precision.
