The cartridge case is fully supported and aligned with the sizing bushing before resizing begins. As the process progresses, the case remains supported in the tightly chambered, sliding sleeve, while the resizing bushing self-centers on the case neck. The decapping rod is precisely aligned using the internal components of the die, similar to the way a firing pin operates, ensuring perfect alignment throughout the process. The micrometer adjustment of the bushing position provides precise control over the amount of neck length to be sized, allowing for exact customization to your needs. This die is designed specifically for Competition Shooters who have carefully prepared their cartridge cases and prefer not to use a sizing button. However, carbide sizing button kits are available separately for those who wish to use one.
