Following that, a small step is introduced to align the bullet with the centerline of the cartridge case, ensuring it is positioned correctly for accurate contact with the seating micrometer. This step improves the uniformity of the seating process. Finally, the die includes a flare at the case mouth to prevent lead shaving when using cast bullets, ensuring a smoother, more precise seating process.
