The Pro Series Die Set is tailored for progressive reloading machines, offering components designed to streamline the reloading process while maintaining precision. It features the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C) for efficient case resizing but excludes an expander die (EXP), as most progressive machines handle case mouth expansion at the powder drop station. The set includes a specially designed seating die (PRO ST) with a large entry radius for effortless bullet alignment. However, this seating die does not provide crimping capability. To complete the reloading process, the set comes with a specialized bullet crimping die (CR), available in either a Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp configuration as indicated in the chart. Though optimized for progressive presses, the Pro Series Die Set also performs exceptionally well with single-stage presses when paired with a separately purchased expander die. For the best handloads, crimping should always be done as a separate step after the bullet is seated. This thoughtful design ensures precise, high-quality reloads for progressive and single-stage reloading setups alike.
