Details
- The Pro Series seating die is a specialized seating die with a large entry radius and a standard bullet seating plug but does not provide any bullet crimping ability, offering precise seating without crimping
Features
The Pro Series Die Set is designed specifically for progressive reloading machines, optimizing efficiency and precision. It includes the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C) for smooth and reliable case resizing but omits an expander die (EXP), as most progressive machines perform case mouth expansion at the powder drop station. A specially engineered seating die (PRO ST) with a large entry radius is included for easy bullet alignment but does not provide crimping capability. To complete the process, the set includes a dedicated bullet crimping die (CR), available in either a Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp configuration, as indicated in the accompanying chart. While tailored for progressive presses, this die set also performs exceptionally well on single-stage presses when paired with a separately purchased expander die. For optimal results, crimping should be performed after bullet seating, ensuring the best possible handloads. The Pro Series Die Set delivers the precision and versatility needed for progressive reloading and beyond.
