This set features the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C), ensuring smooth and consistent case resizing. It does not include an expander die (EXP), as most progressive machines handle case mouth expansion at the powder drop station, simplifying the setup. A specially engineered seating die (PRO ST) with a large entry radius facilitates precise bullet alignment but does not include crimping capability. To complete the process, the set includes a dedicated crimping die (CR), available in either Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp configurations, as outlined in the accompanying chart. Although optimized for progressive presses, the Pro Series Die Set also functions exceptionally well with single-stage presses when paired with a separately purchased expander die. For the highest-quality handloads, crimping is best performed as a separate step after the bullet has been seated. This thoughtful design ensures superior performance and versatility for reloaders seeking consistent and precise results.
