SAECO molds are precision-machined from solid cast iron blocks, with each cavity crafted individually. The use of a consistent cutting tool (cherry) for each cavity ensures duplication of the previous one, eliminating the need for additional costs associated with matched cavities. SAECO has engineered a proprietary copper-alloyed pearlitic cast iron to achieve a tight grain structure, dimensional stability and extended durability. The steel sprue plates are securely fastened to the mold blocks using high-temperature spring washers, ensuring uniform bullets with square bases.
