Features

The Ruger American Gen II America’s 250th Anniversary Edition is a right‑hand bolt‑action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, created to commemorate the 250th year of American liberty while delivering modern performance and precision. This limited‑edition model features a special receiver engraving reading “Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty,” paired with a 20‑inch alloy steel barrel finished in Gun Metal Gray Cerakote for durability and corrosion resistance. The medium‑contour barrel incorporates deep spiral fluting to reduce forward weight and improve balance while maintaining stiffness and accuracy. A factory‑installed radial muzzle brake is fitted to the threaded 5/8 x 24 muzzle, helping to control recoil and muzzle rise. The barrel uses a 1:10 twist rate and is cold hammer‑forged for consistent rifling geometry and long service life. The alloy steel receiver is finished to match and includes a factory‑installed one‑piece Picatinny rail for optics mounting.

Ergonomics and fit are supported by a synthetic stock finished in Liberty Blue Splatter, which provides a secure grip texture without excessive abrasion. The stock incorporates a removable spacer system that allows length of pull adjustment from 12 to 13.75 inches, along with a soft rubber recoil pad designed to progressively collapse and reduce felt recoil. A removable low comb cheek riser enhances sight alignment with magnified optics, with additional comb options available to further refine fit. The rifle feeds from AICS‑pattern magazines and includes one magazine, along with steel sling swivel studs. Operation is managed through a three‑position tang safety that allows the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged while locking the bolt against unintended movement. A Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger provides a clean release with user‑adjustable pull weight from 3 to 5 pounds. Measuring 41.25 inches in overall length and weighing 6.5 pounds, the Ruger American Gen II America’s 250th Anniversary Edition combines commemorative styling with practical, precision‑focused features for hunting and field use.
