The 2008 or later models in stainless steel are compatible with Mini-14 rifles featuring factory flanged 0.625 inches diameter barrels manufactured in 2008 or later, with a serial number prefix of 508 or higher. Additionally, they are compatible with Mini Thirty rifles equipped with both the older factory straight pencil 0.625 inches diameter barrel and the new factory flanged 0.625 inches diameter barrel.
