The Savage Arms Impulse Core Predator is a purpose-built rifle designed for varmint and predator hunting, combining modern performance with the speed of a straight-pull action. Chambered in .22-250 Remington, it offers high velocity, flat trajectory, and excellent precision for long-range predator applications. Built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, the rifle allows for rapid cycling and fast follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” medium contour carbon steel barrel provides durability and consistent accuracy, finished in Black Ink Cerakote for added corrosion resistance. Featuring a 1:12 twist rate suited for lighter varmint projectiles, the barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and capped, allowing for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility.

The rifle is built on a durable aluminum receiver, also finished in Black Ink Cerakote, and includes an integrated Picatinny rail for straightforward optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Hunter Green, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a customized fit. M-Lok compatibility enhances versatility for mounting accessories, while Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, consistent break for improved accuracy. A tang safety ensures intuitive operation, and the rifle feeds from a 10-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine for extended shooting sessions.
