At its core is Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, allowing for fast, smooth cycling and rapid follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action design. The 20” medium contour carbon steel barrel delivers consistent accuracy and durability, finished in Black Ink Cerakote for enhanced corrosion resistance. Featuring a 1:8 twist rate, it is optimized for stabilizing modern high-BC 6.5mm projectiles, while the threaded 5/8x24 muzzle with thread cap allows for easy suppressor or muzzle device compatibility.

The rifle is built on a durable aluminum receiver also finished in Black Ink Cerakote and includes an integrated Picatinny rail for secure optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Hunter Green, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a customized and consistent shooting fit.
