Chambered in .270 Winchester, it offers flat-shooting ballistics, manageable recoil, and proven effectiveness across a wide range of hunting applications. Built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, the rifle allows for fast, efficient cycling and quick follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides excellent rigidity and heat dissipation while keeping overall weight low, and features a 1:10 twist rate suited for stabilizing a broad range of .270 caliber projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel is equipped with an Omniport muzzle brake to reduce recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor or alternate muzzle device compatibility.

The rifle is constructed on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, complete with an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and straightforward optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Western camo, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a customized and consistent shooting fit. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a crisp, clean break to enhance accuracy and control, while the tang safety ensures intuitive handling in the field. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliable performance and compatibility with widely used systems.
