The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a precision-driven, backcountry rifle engineered to handle demanding long-range applications with magnum-level performance. Chambered in .300 PRC, this platform is built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, allowing for rapid cycling and faster follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability expected from a traditional bolt-action system. The 24” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides excellent rigidity and heat management without excess weight, and features a 1:9 twist rate ideal for stabilizing high-BC .30 caliber projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel includes an Omniport muzzle brake to help mitigate recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for compatibility with suppressors or alternate muzzle devices.

The rifle utilizes a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, complete with an integrated Picatinny rail for streamlined optic mounting and long-term corrosion resistance. Its AccuFit V2 synthetic stock, finished in Woodland camo, offers an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75”, giving shooters a customizable, consistent fit in any field condition. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, predictable break to enhance accuracy, while the tang safety allows for intuitive operation. Feeding from a 5-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains excellent reliability and versatility.
