The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a lightweight, magnum-capable hunting rifle designed to deliver powerful performance in a highly portable, backcountry-ready platform. Chambered in .300 Winchester Short Magnum, it offers strong downrange energy and flat trajectory in a more compact cartridge, making it well-suited for demanding hunting environments. Built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, the rifle allows for fast, efficient cycling and rapid follow-up shots while retaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides excellent rigidity and heat management while minimizing weight, and features a 1:10 twist rate suited for stabilizing a wide range of .30 caliber projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel is equipped with an Omniport muzzle brake to help manage recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for compatibility with suppressors or alternate muzzle devices.

The rifle is built on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, featuring an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and streamlined optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Western camo, offering an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a customized and consistent shooting fit. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, predictable break to enhance accuracy, while the tang safety provides intuitive operation in the field. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliable performance and compatibility with widely used systems.
