The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a lightweight, performance-driven hunting rifle designed to deliver magnum-level efficiency and long-range capability in a compact, backcountry-ready platform. Chambered in 6.5 PRC, it offers flat-shooting ballistics and excellent energy retention, making it well-suited for extended-range hunting scenarios. At the core of the rifle is Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, which allows for rapid cycling and faster follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides exceptional rigidity and heat management while keeping overall weight low, and features a 1:8 twist rate to stabilize modern high-BC projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel includes an Omniport muzzle brake for effective recoil reduction and is threaded 5/8x24 for compatibility with suppressors or alternate muzzle devices.

Built on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, the rifle offers corrosion resistance and incorporates an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and efficient optic mounting. The AccuFit V2 synthetic stock, finished in Western camo, features an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75”, allowing for a personalized and consistent shooting fit in the field. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, clean break to enhance accuracy and shot control, while the tang safety provides intuitive operation. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliable performance and compatibility with widely used systems.
