The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a lightweight, backcountry-focused hunting rifle engineered to deliver efficient magnum performance with modern precision. Chambered in 6.8 Western, it offers excellent long-range capability, strong energy retention, and optimized performance with high-BC projectiles. Built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, the rifle allows for rapid cycling and quick follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides outstanding rigidity and heat management while keeping weight to a minimum, and features a 1:8 twist rate ideal for stabilizing modern 6.8 caliber bullets. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel is equipped with an Omniport muzzle brake to help reduce recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor or alternate muzzle device compatibility.

The rifle is constructed on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, with an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and streamlined optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Western camo, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a tailored, consistent shooting position. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a crisp, clean break to enhance accuracy in the field, while the tang safety ensures intuitive operation. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliable performance and compatibility with widely available systems.
