The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a compact, backcountry-oriented hunting rifle designed to deliver modern performance and precision in a highly portable package. Chambered in 7mm Backcountry, it offers efficient ballistics, strong energy retention, and excellent long-range capability in a lightweight configuration. Built around Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, the rifle enables fast, smooth cycling and rapid follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action system. The 18” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides outstanding rigidity and heat management while reducing overall weight, and features a 1:8 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-performance 7mm projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel is equipped with an Omniport muzzle brake to help manage recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for compatibility with suppressors or alternate muzzle devices.

The rifle is constructed on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, complete with an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and efficient optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Western camo, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” to ensure a tailored and consistent shooting fit. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a crisp, clean break to enhance accuracy, while the tang safety offers intuitive operation in the field. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliability and compatibility with widely used systems.
