The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a lightweight, backcountry-focused hunting rifle engineered to deliver modern performance and efficiency in a compact, highly portable platform. Chambered in 7mm Backcountry, it offers strong long-range capability, efficient ballistics, and excellent energy retention for demanding hunting scenarios. At the core of the rifle is Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, allowing for rapid cycling and quick follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability expected from a traditional bolt-action system. The 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel provides exceptional rigidity and heat management while keeping overall weight to a minimum, and features a 1:8 twist rate designed to stabilize modern high-performance projectiles. Finished in matte carbon fiber, the barrel includes an Omniport muzzle brake to reduce recoil and is threaded 5/8x24 for compatibility with suppressors or alternate muzzle devices.

The rifle is built on a durable aluminum receiver finished in Blackout Cerakote, complete with an integrated Picatinny rail for secure and streamlined optic mounting. It is paired with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Western camo, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and a length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a customized and consistent shooting fit. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a crisp, clean break to enhance accuracy and control, while the tang safety offers intuitive operation in the field. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle delivers reliable performance and compatibility with widely used systems.
