The Savage Arms Impulse Ultralite Pro is a lightweight, backcountry-ready hunting rifle purpose-built for precision and efficiency in demanding terrain. Chambered in 7mm Backcountry, this rifle combines modern cartridge performance with Savage’s innovative straight-pull Impulse action, allowing for faster cycling and quicker follow-up shots while maintaining the strength and reliability of a traditional bolt-action platform. At its core is a 20” Sendero Lite carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel, offering excellent rigidity and reduced weight, paired with a 1:8 twist rate for optimal projectile stabilization. The barrel is finished in matte carbon fiber and comes equipped with an Omniport muzzle brake, with 5/8x24 threading for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility.

The rifle is built around a Blackout Cerakote aluminum receiver with an integrated Picatinny rail for durable, corrosion-resistant performance and easy optic mounting. It is fitted with the AccuFit V2 synthetic stock in Woodland camo, featuring an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull ranging from 12.75” to 13.75” for a tailored shooting fit. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a clean, consistent break, enhancing precision in the field. Feeding from a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, the rifle maintains reliability and versatility while keeping weight to a minimum. With an overall length of 42.63” and weighing just 7.68 lbs, the Impulse Ultralite Pro delivers a well-balanced combination of portability, adaptability, and long-range hunting capability.
