Newer Sig Sauer slides are machined not stamped and have a different sight mounting. In the illustration below, the arrow is pointing to the external mounted extractor. Only machined slides have this; stamped slides have an internal extractor. The HIVIZ front sight models SGLW08 and SGLW06 fit the new machined slides. Sig pistols with a stamped slide require the HIVIZ SG2015 front sight.
