The holes in the Sinclair bullet comparators are precisely cut using throating reamers to accurately replicate the actual throat of a rifle. When used in conjunction with calipers, the comparator allows the reloader to measure the length from the bullet's major diameter to the case head with precision. Additionally, it facilitates accurate adjustments to the seating depth of the bullet seater.
