All metal parts, including the blade, crossguard, and pommel, feature a hardcased black TiNi coating. The tactile Kraton rubber handle adds a contemporary touch to the traditional leather washers. The thick (0.24 inches) AUS-8 blade retains the same blade grind as the sog Bowie, complete with sculpted crossguard, deep hollow grinds, precision detailing, and a faceted tip that are unmistakable SOG signatures.
