Material redistribution towards the rear of the barrel not only offsets accessory weight but also enhances barrel rigidity, minimizing point-of-impact shifts between suppressed and unsuppressed shooting. To optimize weight distribution, the gas journal length has been shortened, necessitating the use of low-profile gas blocks instead of fixed front sight bases. Our V2 barrels are carefully tuned for reliable performance with or without a suppressor.
