I now own a few Springfield handguns including this one. Sold my S&W Sigma to buy the Springfield. What an upgrade.

My first gun was a S&W Shield 9. I love it, but I wanted to follow it up with a full-sized 9mm. So far, I'm loving this. Having gotten used to the smaller profile and shorter barrel of the Shield, this XD9 was a dream to shoot. I don't know what to say other than I love it.

Also, I got the promotional stuff from Springfield in record time. Seriously, it was like 6 days. Usually that stuff takes weeks or months. I would definitely buy this again!

Great gun, I have Glock, Smith W, and Springfield. 9mm and 40’s. The Springfield is my preference, the factory trigger and the gun design makes it a great shooter. I can wear the center ring out at 25 ft.

I own a few other XD's was looking for the 9mm Service Model. Palmetto always has outstanding prices. This firearm fits me well for how I'm going to use it. No complaints. As always I get great service from Palmetto and it shipped to my dealer very fast.

I had searched long and hard and just couldn't find something I liked in the +/- $400 range. I snapped this up on Black Friday and feel I made the best choice I could. This thing is dead-on accurate. I'm still a beginner but I've put 450 rounds through it already. My very first attempt at 15 yards I still maintained a 5" grouping on both magazines. I had never shot past 10 my whole life so that was a shock for me. Definitely buy yourself a speed loader. 32 rounds at a time will eat your thumbs and you won't even be able to get past 10 without it. All rounds were 115gr brass FMJ: Perfecta Blazer Brass and Federal. The first two were so tight I couldn't believe it. The Federal was kind of all over the place. No FTFeeds or FTFires. Goof proof. I have found myself loving the zit (firing pin indicator) handy when losing track of round counts. But beyond a shadow of a doubt the grips are the best feature including the front of the trigger. Just so comfy with zero fatigue. Mags release smoothly. Was a little more difficult to release from the right side (I'm a lefty) but it is starting to break in. Definitely a good ambidextrous or lefty gun. Sights are dead on. My buddy tried it and immediately was dialed in. My third round at 30 feet hit the 1" bullseye and hardly left. Recommending SA's to all my friends.

I bought this through the Black Friday deal and spent a considerable amount of time looking for an affordable and effective home defense firearm my wife and I could use. Shipping took about a week and a half because orders were backed up due to Thanksgiving. The day I got it took it to the range and went through a 100rd box in a jiff. Shoots well with no malfunctions and as a beginner I could already shoot a 6 inch pattern and hit within the target area 10/10 times. Great gun in my opinion and I feel that I got a great deal through Palmetto State Armory's Black Friday deal. Even without the deal it's a superb weapon that's easy to handle and shoot.
