The Steyr Aug HBAR barrel's enlarged diameter was specifically engineered to facilitate prolonged fully-automatic firing while managing heat effectively. Every AUG HBAR barrel is equipped with the iconic vertical recoil reduction muzzle device, an adjustable cant bipod, with Integrated-Optic 3X scope built into the carry handle, designed to mitigate aggressive vertical recoil. Just like all AUG barrels in current production, these barrels undergo cold-hammer forging in Steyr, Austria, followed by machining and assembly in the United States.
