Features
The 12 Gauge shotgun patch jag is specifically engineered for cleaning 12 Gauge shotgun barrels and is proudly manufactured in the USA. These patch jags effectively press solvent- or bore paste-treated patches against the barrel and into the rifling, mechanically removing carbon, plastic and copper deposits from the bore. For expedited cleaning, 0000-grade mild steel wool or fine brass wool can be used over the patch instead of a brush to dislodge debris. In a demonstration, the patch was used without solvent and pushed through the barrel once, showcasing the superior cleaning capability of these jags compared to others on the market. The proof is on the patch. Beyond cleaning, these jags are also suitable for oiling the bore for storage and removing oil prior to firing. Our shotgun jags are compatible with all standard rods featuring 5/16-27 threads. We recommend purchasing USP bore paste and round TCS patches for shotguns, as these patches are optimally sized for use with our jags. It is advised to avoid using square patches, as they may result in a tight fit.
- Patch jag with anodized aluminum construction
