The Certified Special trigger is a monolithic two-stage design built for consistent, repeatable breaks and reliable performance under demanding conditions. A pivoting safety lever provides a clean, controlled engagement, and the system is approved for USPSA and permitted in IPSC Standard, Optics, and Open divisions.
This design advances the ACE Trigger System through several key enhancements. A frame-decoupled safety places all critical tolerances within the trigger assembly itself, improving reliability across a wide range of pistol frames. Updated safety-stop geometry further broadens compatibility, while the TMDE verification pad on the lever module assists in confirming proper safety function during inspection. An improved backplate with added relief clearance strengthens the system under extreme shock conditions, delivering a significant boost in drop safety and impact durability without altering the sear module.
The Certified Special trigger incorporates Zero Creep, TKR, and CLKR technologies, offering a flat trigger lever, adjustable pull weight from 2.5 to 6 pounds, and ambidextrous operation.
