This cartridge offers a little more than your standard range load. Its bullet is a total metal jacket. Picture a piece of chocolate with a candy shell. You know which one we’re talking about. Now imagine if that _&_ had lead instead of chocolate, copper instead of candy, and the shape of a bullet. That’s the TMJ. Unlike the FMJ, its core is completely coated by copper, which is why it creates dramatically less barrel fouling and minimizes the shooter’s exposure to lead gas.
