The N140 powder was initially developed for the 7.62x53R cartridge for the Finnish Army during the early years of Vihtavuori history. It remains one of our best-selling powder types to this day. N140 is a tubular powder with grain dimensions of 1mm in length and 0.9mm in diameter. Its structure, grain geometry and graphite coating ensure excellent performance in all reloading machines, making dosing exceptionally easy. The N140 powder burns at a medium speed on our rifle powder scale, offering versatility for handloading in both small game hunting and sport shooting applications. While it may not be the optimal choice for achieving the highest possible muzzle velocity, it is certainly the preferred option for attaining the best possible accuracy. This powder is truly multipurpose, suitable for a wide range of calibers, including .223 Remington, .308 Win, 30-06 Springfield and .375 H&H Magnum, among others.
