Features
For exceptional long-range performance, N165 is the optimal choice of rifle powder. Vihtavuori N165 serves as a versatile powder for magnum rifle calibers with heavy bullets. It is particularly effective in .338 Lapua Magnum with 250 grain bullets, but it is also suitable for handloading a wide range of calibers, from 6.5x55 SE to .416 Rigby. The N165 powder grains are identical in size (1.3mm in length x 1mm in diameter) to those of its counterpart, N160; however, the surface coating differentiates their burning characteristics. N165 is a very slow-burning rifle powder, making it an excellent choice for the same range of cartridges as N160 when using heavier bullets. With N165, slightly higher velocities can be achieved, making it an ideal option for long-range shooting and big game hunting.
- Utilizing this load configuration, you can attain exceptional performance characterized by a remarkably minimal velocity deviation
