BEST ANSWER: Not Yours... NO....... "Designed specifically for the AR platform, the 1x Spitfire combines an impressive array of high-performance features into a rugged, ultra-compact package." Straight from the 1st line of the ad. As long as your rifle has at least 2" of open rail it will fit.

Really love the Vortex spitfire
I like that the brightness is adjustable and in red or green. Easy to see if your light is still on also with dial switch. Also really like the ring around the dot, adds a great framing component. Also rated highly for those w an astigmatism. Then of course the Vortex warranty!

Sturdy and easy to use
Got lucky, it was zeroed right out of the box at 75 yards. Installed on KS47 rifle and pistol. Makes easy shooting firearms even easier. Would prefer if etched reticle dot was slightly smaller for shooting at longer distances.

Whats not to love?
I started off with buying a few Leupold Prismatics for $500 ea. But when these came out I compared them side-by-side in my hands and chose to buy only the Vortex.

The sight picture is just a slight smidge smaller in the Vortex. But the reticle is exactly the same. The Leupy has digital illumination which everyone knows kills the battery over a short period of time. Whereas the Vortex has a rotating switch never worry about battery life. And also has red and green for color illumination. I like how low I can mount the Leupy because of my ultra high cheeks but the lowest mount on the Vortex is not that far off.

I can buy three of these for the price of a Leupy so the math is easy for me.

Vortex for life.

This is a very nice red dot.
The quality of this sight for the money is hard to beat. It mounted solid and it zeroed quickly. The reticle is the best part. It is very impressive. It allows for quick target acquisition and the center dot is nice for the longer ranged shots. When the sight is turned off the reticle is black still allowing use in a back-up scenario. I paid $150 around the holidays for reference.

Just what I needed
I had trouble for a long time with red dots coming over very fuzzy or splotches near the dot. I was able to nab it for 150$ during the xmas special. Mounted it on my ak and all I can say is its exactly what I wanted a etched reticle that replaces a traditional red dot that also has a adjustment for focus. Sad a 3x mag doesn't work well with it but other than that it's hand down the best optic I ever bought.

Great scope for the price
Needed a short range scope and this fit the bill. THe only thing I have noticed was the windage adjustment did not need to adjust elevation seems to be 1/2 MOA adjustments not 1/4. I was 1.0 inches to the right at 50 yards so put in six clicks to the left and was then 1 inch to the left. Backed it off three click and dead center. Will mess with it some more to see how adjustments work with elevation too
