Winchester repeating a rms continues to advance the realm of rimfire rifles with the introduction of the Xpert bolt-action model. Building on-the footsteps of its autoloading relative, the Wildcat, the Xpert boasts confident styling and inventive attributes that enhance accuracy and performance, all while maintaining a budget-friendly price that leaves room for ammunition or optics investment. In crafting the Xpert, our primary focus rested on enhancing accuracy and incorporating features that elevate the rifles capabilities. Central to this effort is the newly introduced rimfire MOA Trigger. Borrowing from the trigger system utilized in the model 70 and XPR rifles, the rimfire MOA Trigger boasts a three-lever design. It features a seamless pull with no detectable creep, no take-up and no overtravel. This results in a delicate pull that breaks smoothly, akin to glass. Furthermore, the Xpert showcases a precision button-rifled barrel adorned with a target crown, alongside a semi-match Bentz chamber. For added reliability with rimfire ammunition, a hemispherical firing pin has been incorporated.
