The Xpert boasts bold styling and innovative features designed to enhance accuracy and performance while maintaining an affordable price, leaving plenty of cash for ammo. Central to the Xpert's design is the new rimfire M.O.A. trigger, a three-lever system akin to the triggers found in the model 70 and XPR rifles, offering zero creep, zero take-up and zero overtravel for a light, glass-like break. The rifle features a precision button-rifled barrel with a target crown and semi-match Bentz chamber, ensuring exceptional accuracy. A hemispherical firing pin enhances reliability with rimfire ammunition. Equipped with an adjustable rear sight and blade front sight, the Xpert also has a steel receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The controls are user-friendly, including an extended bolt handle for extra leverage, a conveniently positioned safety at the rear of the receiver and dual ambidextrous magazine releases for versatile handling. The Xpert utilizes the same polymer rotary magazine as the Wildcat, with .22LR models also compatible with 10/22 magazines. Designed for both range days and rabbit hunts, the Xpert features a tough polymer stock, keeping the rifle's weight at a manageable 4.8 lb for easy aiming and carrying. The steep grip angle improves finger-to-trigger reach and optional accessories include a length of pull spacer adding 3/4 inches to the stock and a clip-on cheek riser increasing cheek height by 1/2 inches.
